Online Success
In this fourth and final part, we’ll look at a mistake so serious I am convinced it is the single biggest reason why people fail in their Internet Marketing business (or in life).

What convinces them, and others who see them, that they aren’t making this “biggest mistake” is that it appears on the surface they aren’t making it but when you look more deeply and without blinders, then you can see the truth.
What they, and maybe you, are not doing is…

Online Success
In part 1, we looked at mistakes people make when doing e-mail marketing and in part 2 we looked at mistakes people make with split testing; the most common one being not doing it
This time we’re going to look at one mistake that people make on their landing pages – sales pages, squeeze pages, blog posts, etc.
But this is not an obvious mistake like bad sales copy or hideous graphics.
It is one much more subtle but is so important that doing it can multiple your conversion rate and really strengthen your Conversions Pillar.

Other Stuff
For a project I am doing that requires me to get some Unix Web hosting accounts, I was doing some research this past weekend, May 2, 2009, into who are the best hosting companies to use.

In addition, I went to forums, review and opinions sites and looked at the opinions I could find and then did a rating of which seemed the best based upon the reviews.
Altogether there were 25-30 companies that were included because they’d been rated well in the above, here are the top 5 as calculated by the Web rating Web sites:

Split Testing
In part 1, we looked at how many people make mistakes when doing e-mail marketing.
We went from understanding e-mail marketing to creating a good “offer” to entice people to join your list, to how to present that offer so it converts well, to the importance of building a relationship and caring for your list, and why you should always be following up with your list.
If you’ve done just some of what we talked about there, you should have already seen an improvement in your conversions.
This time we’re going to take a brief look at something all highly successful online businesses do. Something that separates the winners from the losers.
Something that most people know they should do, fewer do but don’t do consistently, fewer still do but not properly and others, the most successful, do and do well…
Testing.
