The 3 Pillars of (Guaranteed) Success

I’ve spent a few years now in business and a while in online businesses and have realized there are only 3 things you need to guarantee success in your online business and without them you are guaranteed to fail.

Yes, without 3 specific things you will fail and with them you CANNOT fail.

When I talk about success (and failure) I don’t mean success to be just earning a few tens of thousands (or even a few thousands) on one launch, as nice as that would be, I am talking about a sustained level of income that provides you with the lifestyle you desire without having to work long hours in a job (whether that job is working for someone else or working for you).

These things aren’t stupid things like having 10 million dollars in the bank but they aren’t big secrets either, everybody knows them.

The problem is that most people aren’t completely focused on them.

And before you start guessing, one is NOT “taking action” because that alone doesn’t really matter. Now before you bristle and argue, I’ve harped on taking quick, massive action so I am a BIG believer in it.

But you can take massive action and still fail and you can achieve what I call the 3 Pillars of Success without taking action and you will succeed; although I do think it would be very hard to succeed without that action.

So what are these Pillars you will be hearing me talk about for the next year or two:

Pillar 1: Getting lots of targeted traffic

Pillar 2: Getting good conversion rates

Pillar 3: Having enough good products

That’s it, that’s all it takes.

Not rocket science, not even some big new secret.

Sure it sounds “obvious” and even idiotic in a “duh” sort of way but think about it…

Have you achieved the success you really want?

If not then one or more of your Pillars are weak.

If the only thing you did, the ONLY thing you did, was concentrate on making all 3 Pillars strong then you would be where you want to be and probably further.

I took a hard look at myself last year — when you are laid up in bed a lot you do that — and while I was pleased with the continuing successes and improvements I had achieved in a relatively short time — I haven’t been in this since the dawn of the Internet like everyone else seems to say they have icon smile The 3 Pillars of (Guaranteed) Success — I realized that I hadn’t gotten to my minimum goal (of course, I set very aggressive goals).

This is when I started really analyzing what it takes to succeed.

I read and researched, I talked to very successful people, I looked at how they ran their businesses and looked for what they all did the same.

Then, like I like to do for my simple brain, I simplified them down to their base components.

I found that the 3 Pillars basically guarantees success and I didn’t remember finding anyone who had created a successful without all 3.

So I have restructured things and I am going to focus solely on the 3 Pillars, I told you some about this previously, and I am going to be doing everything I can for the foreseeable future to help you achieve all 3 also.

More later on details but now is the time to look at where your business is, what you have achieved and where you’d like to be.

Look from the view of the 3 Pillars and identify the weak points in your Pillars and start putting all you focus, creativity, energy and, yes, your action towards those weak points.

If you do truly that, and it isn’t as easy as it sounds, one year from now you will be in a much better place and the year after you’ll be even better and the year after…

Just remember the focus and action must be on the Pillars and you MUST remove other things from you business. Don’t worry, the Pillars are broad enough to cover what you do but they are also specific enough that you will cut away the unimportant “fat”.

I encourage you to post your goals and strengths and weaknesses here, tell what you will be doing about it achieve strong Pillars so you have success.

I’ll help anyway I can and answer what questions I can or try to get the answers but this can become a sort of mastermind group where we can all help each other succeed by giving suggestions, encouragement, constructive criticism and other help.

That will only make it happen for all of us faster than going it alone will.

Achieve those things and you will succeed

Talk soon,

David
