Jason,

I guess we'll disagree on the scared part.

I definitely think people need to do things, which is why I've given a lot of suggestions of things to do but I don't think they need to be scared about it.

This is serious but there are lots of people out there making it seem like come December 1st the FTC is going to swoop down on them through lots of big fines around and that's not going to happen; the FTC has said it themselves as people can see from my references and quotes.

And if they read all those scenarios they'll also see that there are only certain situations that are even applicable.

So I definitely think people should educate themselves on the facts and should people do something but I don't think they need to be afraid, at least people like you and I don't.

I think we are agreeing but using different words.

If people are concerned I'll again recommend to them to purchase that legal forms software via your affiliate link. In fact, I think people should do that whether this impacts them or not. Having good legal forms and disclaimers and stuff is really valuable.

Thanks for giving your thoughts, you know how much I respect you so I find them valuable.

David

O.Y. I know I'm supposed to call you, I've just had so little time that I've felt able to even get out of bed. Hopefully this coming week.

Hey David,

How's it going?

Totally disagree.

"don't be scared about this"?

Everybody SHOULD be scared....at least scared enough to take some sort of action. Without all the "hype" out there, many marketers would just continue to do what they've been doing. Without all the hype and noise people wouldn't pay attention.

I would be careful on trying to calm people down. At least you are telling people to do their own diligence...but your post is downplaying a very serious situation.
